First and foremost, I would say that this is not a Mac vs. PC analysis. People can get a little 'wild with their assessments and preferences, and I say that this is just that - a review. My decision to buy a Mac was a preference - not just a computer out there that are right for everyone. I should also note that I upgraded to 4 GB of RAM and a 250 GB hard drive.

Absolutely fantastic battery life (when I tried to kill him for calibration, lasted 5.5 hours - and has not been calibrated yet!)
Very fast - takes less than a minute to go completely
Large size and weight - I can not even see the difference in the screen of my 15 "Acer, but I see a drastic difference in weight!
Very, very well done - when I took it, he felt a little heavier than I thought it would be for its size, but only because it is so solidly built. My old laptop had more flex.
The touchpad is large and easy to use
Is not hot, unlike
