As other reviewers have said, be sure to download from Acer and install the latest updates to drivers, otherwise the CPU spike to 100% without a lot of reasons, and the fan runs at full speed.
When I did that the laptop works very well for everyday use - surfing the Web, only 720p-encoded videos work without a problem with the Klite Codec Pack and Media Player Classic Microsoft Office programs, Vista works well on this laptop. Acer packages including a series of simple games on this laptop, the games are really fun for a short period of time so that they are good enough to do, sometimes, if you ever get bored and try to find something to do. I did a graphic-intensive games and if I do not expect such games to the laptop tries to cope well.
Battery life is very good.
The keypad is glossy, and the key travel and feel are not as good as laptops, Lenovo. One can not, like the keyboard when you type in them for long periods. Then there is the position of the touchpad - I lost my left hand accidentally touched the top left corner of the touchpad in peace, and if my right hand trying to use the touchpad, the cursor on the screen does not move, a gesture or action get triggered.
All in all, the laptop is smooth and not too heavy, and feels stable. Is distinguished definitively the daily tasks. The keyboard and touchpad can be improved.
