For testing an upgrade from an older Mac laptop, this new line-up very persuasive. My predecessor was the G4 PB 1.33 15 ". I replaced with the new (mid 2009) 2.53 MB Pro a few weeks ago. Benefits observed so far in order of importance to me …
1. Speed. Of course, but this update is only on the reduction of frustration went really improve efficiency.
2. Display. My old display has grown dim. The new LED display is beautiful, bright and sharp. The reflections are annoying, but unless the first and the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
3. Battery life. No comparison. I locked in order, but the times I have used off-grid you can run 7 hours.
4. Compatibility. Snow Leopard, and many other new software requires Intel processors. I also occasionally a website designed with older, non standards-based software that does not work correctly with Mac browsers Intel-based Macs to run crossover, in
