After my son and I play a fair amount of research, I decided on the Acer 1410. I have about a months and I use it almost every day. I'm using an old computer with a larger screen, but are used for the smaller screen and does not provide them. I love the full size keyboard, reducing the fat-finger while typing. Sometimes I brush the touchpad and move the cursor in an area undesirable, somewhat 'boring if you do not immediately catch on and type your text. Get along, without a disc is not a problem until now, I downloaded a printer driver from the website of the printer and are able to print remotely. The battery lasts long enough for me, about 4 hours + with the Internet connection always on. Device is small enough to be extremely portable, lightweight and easy to use on a desk, a chair, a round, even in bed. The chipset also seems fast enough, says that the fastest processor of Adam in the majority of ministers. I have some flicker when I watch Hulu, but is not really a problem, I did not buy this. I heard that using Google Chrome helps. It comes with a trial version, most of which I removed. I process and McAfee Office, 30 or 60 days on these tests. I am more than happy with this PC, mainly for surfing the internet, I think casual computing. Check the Acer website, as I heard a newer version is already in production, although it is expensive.
