Give Me A Laptop With Bling
Ask any teenager, what’s the coolest looking laptop you can buy? And almost all of them will tell you it’s one of the Apple MacBooks. After all they are colorful, and different looking than the same old same old black/gray PC laptops.
One would think that the PC makers would take some hints from some of the other similar markets. For example, take a look at cellphones, you can get phones in anything from camouflage to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle skins. Ipods come standard in 4-5 colors, and dozens of skins are available as well.
And look at the difference in styling between MacBooks and regular PC laptops. The styling of the Macs are much more aggressive, much more stylish. You can pick out a Mac in a lineup, not so easy with a PC. Can you really see the difference between HP/Dell/Gateway/IBM laptops, or do they all look about the same, about the same size, same color, same format?
That’s about to change. Some of the PC manufacturer’s are finally getting the hint. Within the next few months PC’s are finally getting some style. Dell XPS laptops have always had more style than usual, but not many buyers could afford the steep prices of these high end laptops. Now, manufacturers such as Dell and HP are getting a lot more customized and a lot more colorful.
So, finally PC Laptop buyers can rejoice. You can finally get your laptop with some bling, and even show up your Apple MacBook buddies.
