The HP Pavilion dv9000t laptop has arrived and it comes packing a lot of punch. With the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processor, two 100GB hard drives, 17-inch glossy widescreen display, and to top it all, an HD DVD drive that provides the latest high-definition movies, though not playing at the highest resolutions .
This 7.8-pound HP notebook is not only strength, but it looks good, too. With a shiny black surface on the outside and silver on the inside, this system can handlejust about anything from multitasking office work to music, photos and playing DVDs. The 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor has no problem with all of the above simultaneously without interference on audio or video.
Navigation around the dv9000t is very simple. The large touch pad makes for easy scrolling and the scroll bar that makes the scan very large documents a breeze. The QuickPlay multimedia buttons activate the DVD player and multimedia features, as well as starting or stoppingMovies or music.
Sound from the Altec Lansing speakers was very clear to come by, but cranking the volume right there, the sound a bit vague to be with the best option to get around the mid stick for the best sound.
This HP computer comes with a 1.3-megapixel webcam, the goods delivered high-quality images, but had some problems with video conferencing and live video coming through a little blurry.

It is the standard one year warranty with this machine, and a year 24 / 7 toll-free technical support and e-mail support and real-time chat room.
Overall,This system is a good desktop replacement with HD-DVD. Together with the built-in webcam, the QuickPlay functionality and affordable price that will not let the HP Pavilion 9000t in the lurch.
